It’s not often PCF supremo Gary Spencer gets time to fish, usually he can be found in his motor delivering bait, letting anglers into lakes or in meetings with lake partners. When the opportunity does arise he clearly makes it count – below in his own words sum up the session…

They say its better to be lucky than good, well three weeks ago I had a very lucky 4 hour session on a North Cambs gravel pit, banking a new PB at 50lb 13oz! I returned the next morning and repeated the trick and upped my PB to 52lb 6oz! After several weeks of struggling, but regularly pre-baiting with the PCF Coco Fruit and the soon to be released Squiddly Diddly, it was very pleasing to catch one on both. A huge thank you to Mark and Clint, for the weighing and photographing, and just being there!
