To follow up on the TeamPCF social match we’ve recently held at Holme Fen Fishery, we’ve received this awesome picture of match winner Phil Bowers, Heather Bowers and the team over at West Suffolk Special Care Baby Unit.

At this particular social we managed to raise £767.00 all of which went to the charity of which they’re hoping to use the money to buy iPads so that mums who are stuck in ICU can see their new born babies in real time!

A personal word from myself and I know Gary will agree. It makes me so proud to be part of a team who really do make a difference, not just to fishing but to many others in our community. We hold 3/4 socials a year at Holme Fen Fishery which means each time we do, a different charity gets a helping hand from TeamPCF. Whilst the proceeds aren’t in the millions the money we do filter out to charities is making a difference. The picture above proves this.

So a massive well done to all in TeamPCF, everyone who helps makes these events happen and also Martin and Mike at Holme Fen Fishery for allowing us to hold these special events on the meadows. And to anyone else who wants to be part of something bigger than carp fishing – give us a shout!
